AI-powered chess coaching
Turn class discussion into a useful next lesson.
Connect a Google Meet recording to your Teach64 classroom. AI transcription and class reports bring the discussion, positions and individual attempts together for the coach to review.
Connect Google Meet to the exact class
The Teach64 Coaching Assistant uses a Chrome extension and Windows helper for the connected recording workflow. Confirm participant permission before recording and analysis.
- 01Prepare in ClassroomChoose Start tracking, select the class and confirm permission. Connect Google Meet so the extension receives the selected class.
- 02Start on the meeting tabOpen Teach64 on Google Meet and start tracking there. Chrome asks for recording permission. Preparing the class on the website does not start recording.
- 03Teach and capture evidenceThe classroom supplies position context. Use Everyone try when you want a student’s own moves and explanation recorded as an individual attempt.
- 04Generate after the lessonEnd tracking, wait for voice processing and match voices you recognize in Students. Generate the AI review from Report.
Extension accessThe extension is in testing and is not yet listed in the Chrome Web Store. Ask about setup and access.
AI transcription with chess position context
The recording workflow supports English and Urdu transcripts. Saved discussion can be reviewed alongside the classroom’s positions and private student attempts, so a coach can check the words against what was happening on the board.
Voice matches need coach confirmation. A name spoken during the lesson does not identify a voice. Shared-board activity gives context; private attempts provide the record of a matched learner’s own moves.
Three views for the next lesson
- Class moments
- Review a small set of lesson moments with the supporting positions, attempts and words available to inspect.
- Student handover
- See each learner’s captured evidence and a suggested next step. Missing evidence stays visible instead of becoming an invented assessment.
- Teaching reflection
- Review concrete teaching exchanges and possible adjustments. Coaching feedback depends on confirmed speech and remains a draft for human review.
Check the evidence and names before using a report. Changes to the transcript or voice matches can make a report stale; regenerate it before review or PDF export. A PDF is available for a finished, current review.
AI reports support the coach’s judgment. They do not automatically grade children, infer emotions or turn one answer into a lasting weakness.
